The Brazilian Petroleum Conference (BPC) is an international conference that aims to promote the multi-disciplinary interaction of professionals in the petroleum industry and the dissemination and exchange of ongoing work and the latest developments in technical-scientific investigations and research in carbonate fields & reservoirs.
The event features world-renowned, technical experts and scientific researchers, who will present the main highlights of various industry projects and academic research in both plenary and break-out technical sessions.
The first edition of the event was organized in 2015 and was attended by more than 400 participants who gave very positive feedback. The second edition will be held from 19th– 21st of June 2018 in Rio de Janeiro and will focus on carbonate reservoirs, their challenges and the latest technological advances.
The BPC is organized jointly by four key Brazilian professional societies in the Upstream Business: The Brazilian Association of Petroleum Geologists (ABGP), The Society of Petroleum Engineers – Brazil Section (SPE), the Society of Petrophysicists and Well Analysts – Brazil Section (SPWLA) and The Brazilian Society of Geophysics (SBGf).
